With an innate sense of color, Debbie Cope’s joyous paintings inspire contemplation and exhilaration. Her expressive brush strokes reveal a maturity of craft and an expansive knowledge of composition. Cope’s spontaneity is obvious in whatever subject matter she pursues. She maintains a full-time working studio in Fruita, Colorado where she lives.  Striking Redland mesa vistas serve as constant inspiration, as do the myriad of creatures that surround her home.
